I directed a creative staged reading which was performed in April 2019 with UA theatre students as part of a “Live Read” series to celebrate southern writers (Fannie Flagg), and Women’s History Month. Partial funding came from an Alabama Humanities Grant, a state program of the National Endowment for the Humanities, and this event was endorsed by the Alabama Bicentennial Commission and Tuscaloosa 200 as an affiliated event.
