Her Destined Port is an original solo work of movement and object theatre that explores the passage of a body as it passes from corporeal to spirit, imagined and represented by the breath and then a large Japanese fan, constructed in collaboration with Kate von Briesen. It premiered in The Puppet Slam of short works at La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club in New York City, as part of the biennial puppet series in November 2015 and was also featured and positively reviewed at the Association of Theatre Movement Educators Conference on devised theatre in Chicago, 2016.
